Programme Mentor – Action for Equality

Suresh Ghodke

Suresh finds ECF’s  approach of involving men to prevent violence and discrimination against women both innovative and inspiring. As a Programme Mentor, he enjoys learning something new about gender every day from the young men he works with at ECF.

Fresh out of acquiring a Masters in Social Work from TISS, Tuljapur, Suresh has recently relocated to Pune from Beed.  As an intern for Payod Industries in Sangli,  Suresh conducted a socio-economic analysis of working women. He has also interned with the monitoring and evaluation team at  M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation in Wardha, Maharashtra for the Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana.

Suresh loves  traveling, reading historical literature and exploring movies with social themes.
