In his capacity as a Senior Programme Mentor, Yogesh mentors young men in communities for Action for Equality in Pune. Drawing from his experience of working at the grassroots for four years, he facilitates training sessions for partner organizations and coaches their mentors in working with men and boys to combat gender-based violence. He joined ECF out of his admiration for our endeavour to engage boys in the struggle for gender equality and the scope for personal learning and growth. In his free time, he enjoys reading, with a particular liking for autobiographies of great social activists and thinkers. He is not afraid to take initiative. He started a social activities group called the ‘Struggle Group’ in his village which works on social issues.
