Rutuja holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, specialising in Urban and Rural Community Development, from the Karve Institute of Social Service, Pune. Before joining Equal Community Foundation, she interned on Project Saksham and Project Arogya Sakhi at the Karve Institute of Social Service CSR Cell, where she gained experience in research, data collection, analysis, report writing, and community engagement.

At Equal Community Foundation, Rutuja works as an MEL Executive. As part of the MEL team, she contributes to programme monitoring, research, data analysis, documentation, and strengthening learning processes across the organisation’s work. She also supports the collection and interpretation of programme data to understand outcomes and inform ongoing programme learning.

Rutuja enjoys working with communities and learning from people’s experiences. She is interested in community development and research and aspires to build her career in the field of research. She also enjoys travelling and exploring new communities.
