On March 6th, we released our first sector research report – “What about the boys? Raising Men to End Violence Against Women”.
The report considers how to scale efforts to give every young man and boy in India the opportunity to reflect on and practice gender equitable behaviour.
Interviews with 14 professionals in this field revealed that men need to be raised to develop and adopt gender sensitive attitudes and behaviours from a young age. The report highlights that parents, teachers and media professionals are central to facilitating this process at a large scale.

The current topic to be started in the research is going to discuss how to engage parents to raise children in a gender equitable manner with a focus on how community based organisation can engage parents.
